Updated September 23, 2026. These terms apply to the MyOpal website, purchases and related account services. MyOpal sells its own products; this website is not a marketplace for transactions between users.
Accounts
Provide accurate account and delivery information and keep your sign-in details secure. Shopping and checkout require sign-in. Contact us promptly about suspected unauthorized activity.
Products and availability
Products, stock and available services are shown on the website. Availability may change before an order is accepted. We will contact you if a product cannot be supplied.
Natural products, images and variation
Natural opals vary in color, pattern, shape and inclusions. Photographs and descriptions help you assess each piece, but lighting, viewing angle and screen settings affect appearance. Read the individual description for information about treatments or assembled stones.
Prices, taxes and payment
Website purchases are priced in US dollars. Check the product subtotal, shipping charges and any taxes at checkout before paying. Your destination may also charge customs duties or import taxes. Payment is processed through the enabled payment provider.
Order acceptance
Submitting an order or returning from a payment page does not by itself confirm payment or acceptance. Order and payment status are shown in your account. If we cannot fulfill an order, we will contact you to discuss the options.

Custom jewelry
We create custom jewelry around natural loose opals purchased from MyOpal. Confirm the design, materials, dimensions, fees and production details with us before work begins. Once production begins, orders cannot be canceled, returned or exchanged because you have changed your mind. Your rights in relation to quality issues, including your statutory rights, remain unchanged.
Membership and rewards
Membership levels, points and benefits follow How membership works. Points are not money. Rewards and service benefits are subject to their stated conditions and confirmation.
Jewelry designer
AI-generated designs and other concepts are exploratory references, not final manufacturing drawings or specifications. They do not guarantee a price, an exact reproduction of a stone or that a piece can be made. Final materials, dimensions and craftsmanship are confirmed with MyOpal.
Intellectual property
Respect the rights in website content, images and designs. Only submit content you are entitled to use. You allow us and the providers needed for the service to process your submitted content for the requested support or design work; this does not make private designs public.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse accounts, interfere with the website, submit unlawful content or exploit errors to obtain products, rewards or unauthorized access. We may restrict misuse while respecting applicable rights.
Third-party services and availability
Payments, delivery and enabled generation services depend on third-party providers. Availability can vary, and if a service is interrupted or its outcome is unclear, we may need to check what happened before continuing.
Consumer rights, liability and applicable law
These terms are subject to applicable law. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limitation of responsibility applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
